UTOPIA

To all people who want to experience the carnival of heaven, AIT (Adichuchanagiri Institute of Technology, Chikmaglur) presents UTOPIA. It is a technical fest of the Computer Science & Engineering Department of AIT on 22nd and 23rd April 2010. UTOPIA reveals the talent of every individual in various aspects and assists them in molding their careers. This fun filled event creates a passion among the students to exhibit their talents.

AIT claims their Technical fest to be unique and different for that of the other colleges. They say this is because along with the usual- paper presentation, gaming, quiz etc. they provide more unparalleled and tougher competition. Their 2 day fest includes -
1. Heuristic analysis (online treasure hunt)
2.70mm (event movie making)
3. Blind programming (programming with the monitors off)
4. Product launch
5. Fastest first (computer parts assembling)

There are going to be technical talk sessions by Dr.P.C.Nagesh on “Animation & Gaming engines” and by DR. T.G. Basavaraju on “Wireless Mesh networks: Challenges and Future Directions” which would be followed by High Tea and then the Valedictory Function on the second day of the fest.
