Paathsala

Schools considered being the temple of education but sadly even this temple is not spared by corruption and politics and the movie Paathshala best manifests the above lines. The protagonist Shahid Kapoor- heart throb of millions delineates the role of a very fun-loving teacher and takes the audience by his charm. The bubbly girly Ayesha Takia plays the role of cheerful Anjali Mathur, apart from this dynamic couple, the veteran star Nana Patekar completely thrills the audience with  his dramatic dexterity and the way he portrays the astute principal reminds the children about there strict headmaster. With foot tapping music, impeccable background score and Shahid’s charismatic move throughout the movie makes it very captivating and entices the audience to watch it till the end.

The movie throws light on very grave matters like commercialization of education, inhumanly treatment meted out to students, the unethical aspect of the noble profession of teaching, sudden hike in fee structure and etc makes this movie very different and unique as it is something which ever student can relate to on the screen.

The Math’s teacher, severe punishment of standing in the sun, the onerous homework all these experiences merge to transport us and brings a broad smile on our face. With every scene we are taken back to our childhood years and thus after leaving the theatre you can’t resist from cherishing our juvenile memories which is revived by "Paathshala". It certainly gets thumbs up. Go catch it up!
